Blasphemer!

Hi Ilya,

Now you are treading dangerous waters when you pounce on the American dream...for everyone knows that since suburbia was started in the early fifties, every American has a god-given right to apple pie, fourth of july fireworks - and the neighborhood lawn maintenance competition.

I have thoroughly enjoyed trimming, edging, and maintaining a 'English rain green' lawn for many years.

Deweeding is a form of ecstasy.

Ahhhhhhhhh.

I shudder with joy at the memories!

Requisite lawn equipment...

A good mower (with adjustable blades and without a plastic flywheel)

An electric 'weed wacker' (gas ones are often prohibited due to noise in some areas) This will serve as an edger/mower to the adepts of the lawn care art.

A good garden hose (rubber not vinyl - vinyl heats up and scalds the heck out of the dog)

Several bottles of VF-11 to dilute and mix with a spray bottle for the final feeding/greening & it also kills white flies!

Besides where are the kiddies going to play?

What will one do without the positive comments and envious stares of your neighbors who jump outside ten minutes after you do to do lawn work on Sunday afternoons?

Where are all the power mower manufacturers going to sell their wares?

Do you see what your blasphemy is threatening...the very fabric and soul of suburban life...

...the green lawn!

;-)
