Just add water

OK, so you've all probably heard of this.

So my question is, (given that these folks are correct, and I realize that's far from certain) does anyone think there might be enough get up and go left in the Tharsis volcanoes, (or in Mars itself, meaning basically magma) to power one of these auto-terra-forming events?
