<I think some of you good gentlemen
gentlemen? as if women don't post here? or are you just adressing htose in the thread and not the whole board?
are so sick of the Cydoniacs, (with very good reason) that you may have just reacted to my question, instead of reading it.
no, I think it has nothing to do with any of that. more likely they are continueing to react to each others past conversations and arguements, only in the light of your post..
I understand your frustration and impatience with individuals who are interested in science only to the extent that it supports their dogma. (be that ufos, faces on Mars, yetis, bigfoot, Bermuda triangle, ghosts, and on and on and on)
regardles of the dogma. . . not just the normal crazyness.
Those people drive me nuts too. But it is almost as frustrating, to be lumped in along with the "Mythologists" simply because someone does not read your question, or reads something into it that you never intended.
it not your question they are responding to as much as they are responding to each others past statements.
For Pete's sake, all I asked was does anyone think there is enough energy left in the system to power one of these events?
I personally do not think so. Why should I? If the energy is there it isn't doing much now. The planet looks to be at an energy deficite to me. Any evidence so far seems to go either way on the matter.
of course thats just my opinion,
