I don't know if you coudl say hoagland popularized hyperdimensional physics. I've never heard of the feild before. Just what is hyperdimensional physics anyway? sounds to me like two buzz words stuck together to sound like something.

I don't think even Hoagland knows what "hyperdimensional physics" is exactly, but it sure sounds cool, like the term "hyperspatial reality." In his recent Tidal Bulges on Mars paper, page 31, Hoagland couldn't help hyping his "new physics":

Positive detection of such short-lived radioactive elements on Mars would raise the stakes enormously. For, not only would the specific tidal model detailed here be resoundingly confirmed, but a clarification of precisely how Mars former “parent” planet was destroyed – via a “new physics,” with all its attendant implications -- would finally be forthcoming.86

Hoagland's physics seems to be more akin to sacred geometry and astrology than to, say, Superstring Theory -- I don't think you'll ever hear Hoagland and Dr. Michio Kaku chew the mathematical fat together on Coast to Coast AM.
