The general public doesn’t know enough about science to discern the difference between science and pseudo-science. It is amazing what stupid ideas they accept. Have you ever watched Jay Leno on one of his Jay walking bits? It is funny, but embarrassing, to watch these people stumble through there answers. Most haven’t a clue what the answers are, and some of them are teachers. It’s no wonder people are so ignorant about science and other subjects like History. He says not, but he must pick the dumbest ones to show on the air.
Its no wonder people are duped into buying all those useless gadgets. If they understood how the world works they wouldn’t be so gullible.
