Starting with Nixon, I can't think of a Republican President who wasn't hellbent upon subverting the Constitution. Including Reagan, what with GHWB, Poindexter, North, Casey, et al.
Any historical evaluation which has had time to evaluate all or most of the data will be very harsh on that empty suit, a willing puppet of those who wielded the authority of his administration.
