Re: Responsability
Perhaps what Kubrick and Clarke failed to see when they made HAL speak those words was the responsability issue. Human Error means HAL considers humans as responsible for what goes on in its circuits while at the same time we might convey to AI a certain amount of consciousness. In the later case, HAL becomes responsible! It might some day become an ethical issue.
