We would like to think we're the masters of nature. But that's wishfull thinking as you well know. Cities being discovered a half mile under the ocean, flash frozen mammoths, rain erosion on the Sphinx, Greenland with all it's old ice off center of the pole. Now scientist new term "abrupt climate change". It's almost to overwhelming as to what it suggest. Time for a little experiment. Take a globe and find Greenland and the area where the flash frozen mammoths were discovered in Siberia. Now make Greenland a pole again and you'll find the mammoths are back in their favorable grassland latitudes. Imagine that. Could the poles actually shift? If so how? Is a pole shift the climax for these sudden climate changes?
