Dr. Oliver Manuel says that the sun is 'mostly iron, not hydrogen', at the AAS convention in DC.
Hmmmm!
I am fond of theories that stretch the "boundaries of science", but I wonder about this one...
Dr. Oliver Manuel, speaking at the
American Astronomical Society
convention in Washington D.C. this week
expounded on this [put it mildly]
controversial theory of his.
Type in "Spaceflight Now" in your
YAHOO search window and click to get more detail about this man and his far-out theory.
The sun being mostly iron, not hydrogen????...
I would think we would have to fear
our sun turning into a nova if that were
the case...I'm no expert in Dr. Manuel's
field, however.
