Space/Science » in reply to an ice reflection?

I agree

I get the impression of some liquid or perhaps slush oozing out of pockets or a layer on Mars all along a possible ridgeline or some other natural linear feature.

Perhaps hyradulic pressure causes this substance to issue forth, or perhaps there is some heat source which liquifies it and allows it to seep out.

All of which presupposes some submartian resevoirs, pockets or layers of a liquid, ice, or slush of some kind, but I agree: it look like something which has seeped, oozed, or otherwise leaked out, run in little rivulets for some distance and then pooled and froze up. It might be an ongoing process, and that might be checkable.
