Why post anonymously when it is so much more fun to use one's real name - unlike my accuser who hasn't got the cojones to do so themselves. I did a reverse DNS on the dial up "Dr. Impact" used and it is either someone in my area (there are lots of NASA HQ types around here) or someone who picked a NoVa Sprint access number to dial in to make it look like me.

As for my views on Grondine: I think he is a sick, lonely man as evidenced by the putrid post he has on his website where he mocks the memory of the Challenger crew.

As for lies - I heard him tell one at NASA HQ last week. He was standing directly in back of me. Someone asked him what he was doing these days and he said "I am writing for Ad Astra". That is a lie. He is not. I asked the current editor of Ad Astra about this and he said that Grondine was not writing for Ad Astra magazine - but also that was he not going to do so in the future.

As for temperament - the moment someone challenges Grondine he goes straight for profanity. And in so doing just goads others to respond in kind.

I am certain that Grondine will now use profanity in reponse to this post.
