Hello!

Bowser didn't say Bush caused the recesssion just that the economywas going good when he got it. However, I did hear some Democratic leader (I think it was the party chairman) make the BS claim that Bush's tax cut caused the recession. For years we have heard how tax cuts are a stimulous from both democrats and Republicans. Democrats should be ashamed of trying to put out such bold faced lies. It shows marked contempt for the intelligence of Americans.

On the other hand, The Republican pundits have overlooked what I thought was Bowsers main point. Everyone knows the tax cuts went primarily to the rich. Sure most got something. The point is the rich got more. The big R leadership admitted this and justified it by noting accuratly that the rich pay more taxes. As such they will pay more of the interest on new debt as well. The real crime is both rich and poor borrowing on the backs of our kids so we can have what we want. This is why I was against any tax cut until the debt was paid off.

Both sides need to drop the partisan BS and realize these politicians are both out for a subset of Americans rather than out for what is best for the country.
