Republican Leaders Admit it, Why Can't You?

Larry,

It is most unlike you to dance around a simple point. The point is simple and admitted by Republican leaders. The rich pay more capital gains therefore benefit more from a CG cut. Sure more middle income people pay cg taxes than the number of rich people who do. However the rich will get more total dollars and far more per person. Sorry, but I don't see that as fair given that the rich also benefitted more from the economic boom, in part by ruthless job cuts even during boom time proping up their stock gains and managerial bonuses. I'll support the job cuts for the sake of efficiency and keeping our industry competitive, but I hardly think the they deserve a bonus from the government on top of the income gains they already got.

PS I've been paying a substantial portion of my taxes due to capital gains for years and I still don't want the cut at the expense of my kids having to pay on our debt.

Regards,
Mark
