I'd be more convinced if this were reported a few months from now. A hastily constructed experimental apparatus is a bit suspect even with a blueprint to work from.
I'm certainly not a frothing cold fusion advocate (conspiracy cover-up flavor) but lets give these guys a chance. They've undoubtedly heard of Pons and Fleischman and know the fate of the unsubstantiated claim (and it's champions) so I'm predisposed to give them the benefit of the doubt.
