Hi SM,
The first question I ever asked here was could the accelerating expansion be due to the fact that as the distance between galaxies galaxies is increasing thus the force of gravity is decreasing.
Just like having a tug of war and having one side give up.
Phil informed me that even Newtonian gravity doesn't work that way.
Where do you think the energy is coming from?
