I think what Raoul meant was...
...That when the sun gets bigger, it will blow off more gas than it does now, so it will decrease in mass that way and thus decrease its gravitational pull on earth and hence enlarge the earth's orbit.
Purely Newtonian (that equation involving mass and distance and constant to figger gravity), rather than Relativistic (E=MC^2). :-)
