Hey, people are complex and mot of us are studies in contrasts. Newt's not a wonderful human being from what I've read but Newt IS a bright guy and is sincerely interested in the kinds of stuff we are on this Space BBS. He was a Zubrin fan and proposed prizes for space accomplishments, a concept I really favor but realize is completely undoable given the political problems it would cause.
