Project SM: Combine the Elevator and Rotating Hub Ideas
Drop the use of a High Flying Aircraft to reach the Hub on the downstroke.
Just build a very tall building/platform into near space (50 Miles or so) where you can stage your cargo and prepare it for the next downstroke/capture/pass-by of the hub.
But then how would you keep the hub in place? A?: Have it in an orbit and rotation that are sycronized to meet the top of the platform?
Question: How many G's would the cargo pull as it is flung (SP? Word?) from the staging area into space?
