Don't get me started!
I've been through this "ISO" BS, myself. Don't get me wrong: I'm a big fan of effective project management, and quality control. But this ISO cert stuff is not that. It is just something that a company can brag about when looking for clients, or something to put on your resume to impress the suits. And it wastes countless hours to wade through.
However, it's a fact of life that we have to deal with, till it runs its course. It's just like any other management fad. It's a bandwagon that everyone is afraid not to jump on with great enthusiasm.
