In that case it's interesting that some asteroids have approached as close to the earth as 1/3rd the lunar distance, and yet were never given a positive value on the Torino Impact Risk Scale like 2002 NT7 has.... but I still think it's a public relations stunt. They should get more funding though, considering how much has been wasted on human spaceflight.
