It may take a couple circuits to accurately plot any such subtle deviation as one the Earth would cause. While the change may be extremely small, way out here where we are, the difference would be greatly magnified during transits around the far side of sun.

NASA's NEO Program Orbits Page is being updated today. I was trying to get an idea of how elliptical the orbit was. the closer the asteroid travels to the sun, the greater the above mentioned deviation becomes.
