I should do a search for Oxbow channels on Mars. I think they would be very rare because I don't think water flows on Mars long enough to create them. They take a long time to create. Perhaps way back in Mars past, water flowed on the surface long enough to create oxbow lakes, but in recent Mars history water flows would not be long lived.
