Armstrong's Merry-Go-'Round
I was just watching a show on the History Channel entitled, "Caught on Film".
They showed the 8mm footage Armstrong filmed from the window on his side of the capsule during that scary thruster malfunction during his Gemeni (8, right?) flight.
It was interesting to notice the gyrations inscrease dramatically and instantly when they cut the agena loose. Wow, spinning at up to 1 rp second for 6 minutes... I was just trying that sitting here on my office chair... doesn't sound too fast, but the cheez-its and pepsi thought it was...
afk, gotta run...
