Where did you see the $10 million number? If that's what they're charging for a 1,000 lb. launch, that is indeed quite disappointing.
Looking through their vehicle description, I did notice one bit of quasi-substantial innovation: their first stage is recoverable (via parachutes & splashdown). Makes me wonder what they're planning for their larger followup vehicle.
