your asuming we use them as they currently are what if there is a new way to use them.
and if you read such magazines you know there new uses for old materals all the time
YES I DO bothered to read the article and i don,t limit myself to opions that are static.
I surpose if i told you that coal could be used to filter the water on mars and to purify the air or even to tereaform it and oil comes in many shapes and forms not all for running engines.
