Are you sure? I must be getting old.
I have not read the story in several years, so old age may be effecting my memory LOL.
I thought that, in the story, the Moon was shining so bright because of a Nova, and our main character realized this. He knew he only had hours to live as the Earth rotated towards his last dawn.
I’ll have to read it again, except I do not have a copy.
