Re: Gravity
With the great gravitational pull of Jupiter we witnessed the Levy/Shoemaker impacts, but I wonder if Earths gravity is strong enough to alter the big asteroids orbit. When I think of the large fireballs that skip off in the atmosphere to continue there orbit I have doubts. Maybe it's all in the initial trajectory.
Neverless the study would be interesting.
