Somehow that seems a bit more understandable, or reasonable, than an entire mission to junk the place up with business cards and ashes. I can understand crashing orbiters into it, or leaving landers, and that sort of thing.
I suspect I'm in a very small minority on this one. Mankind as a whole seems to think that everything is infinite, like oceans and LEO, and now the Moon. I doubt we will ever learn to respect the environment if there is a way to glean some money out of spoiling it.
Totally free, unrestrained enterprise strikes again. Or is that greed.
To me it's kind of sad.
