I think I should mention that it is Space/Time that is getting compressed not molecules and atoms per say.
If you imagine that atoms like water or air molecules have to be compressed then it seems quite impossible, but if think of it as space (nothingness) / Time (A dimension with no mass?)
Then just how much power does it take?
The power of the Universe or a flash light battery?
