There can be nothing more noble than patriotism, and there is nothing more foolish than the foolish patriotism of adolescents of all ages.

Rubber-stamp, blind, unthinking patriotism is not patriotism - it is fascism. Democracy was created to allow for different points of view.

Now, if they could teach that in the schools conservatives attend, this country could get back to being a full-fledged democracy.
