Perhaps cloning could allow Christopher Reeve (etc.) to walk again...

Would folks like Christopher Reeve SINCERELY turn down the chance for a new body cloned from themselves which could potentially house their memories and consciousness? Shouldn't they get the chance to decide for themselves? What if we can clone a human NOT to have the parts of the brain associated with sophisticated human thought? Then Christopher Reeve's memory lobes could theoretically be transferred to the new, more primitive version of his brain in the walking version of himself. The more it's done, the lower prices become. Hopefully ethical issues can be adequately resolved for humanity's benefit.
