I think it would be unlikely that intellegent life would evlolve at the same time on both worlds.
Possible but unlikly.
I would however, think that the Life on world A would be very similar to life on World B when studying life at the single cell level, but it would be vastly different at the multi-cellular level; Or, at least that would hold true until the 1st world to develop intellegent spacefaring life started moving/transplanting the flora and fauna from one world to the other and visa versa then the most "fit" life from both worlds would survive while the "least fit" life would in some cases go extinct.
