As I remember it is _projected_ to become a temporary moon in the distant future...
this one is real.... but I think it was shown it isnt a threat....
as for your question below; no it wouldnt do anything noticeable to our daily routine... no significant gravity effects etc... at most it would be another cool thing to look at in the night sky...
now what WOULD be amazing is to see the ring of debris formed by the impact that eventually made the moon... Talk about an amazing night sky....
