Actually it is sort of true... We have several minor bodies wondering around some following the Earth.. here is and informative page about that of which you write: asteroid 2002 AA29
BTW, what ever happened to the one you seemed so worried over? Is there an ocean where there once was a lake??? Or was that some other January 25, 2003 they mentioned in the article....
