it would be easier to build a solar wind focuser at Venus's L1 point.
and use the fucused solar wind to "blow off" Venus's atmosphere. Or maybe we could build a sun shade at the same point...
Or maybe we could do both.
No need to destroy a perfectly good planet with a perfectly bad atmosphere.
