Re: Rare Earths
What would help would be somthing like this;
Say out of 1000 stars studied, 100 had hot Jupiters (Just an example- not based on data)
On one hand, all of the planets discovered are Hot Jupiters and no Earth-sized planets. Looks bad for Earth-sized planets in the HZ? After all, none were discovered.
Not really, that leaves 900 that could have Earth-sized worlds in the HZ.
I'll have to search for the actual numbers.
