My 2-cents worth on hydrogen-fueled automobiles.

I think President Bush showed great
foresight to advance the technological goal of hydrogen-fueled automobiles.
He's seen the proverbial "writing on the wall", and that is?...Is that the USA is steadily running dry of its'
easily-accessible petroleum.
In another 10 years, acording to scientific projections, Texas, California and even Alaska will
be increasingly obtain more "dry holes" than productive oil-wells...And oil-fields in Kuwait, Iran and even S.A.
will increasingly start to run dry.

But producing and storing hydrogen-fuel for automobiles won't be easy, what is?

Here are some basic engineering principles and suggestions to look at:
[1]liquid-hydrogen for automobiles
may be a no-no! Ex: If you spill gasoline on your hands at your friendly local gas-station, no real problem; you spill LH2 on your hands, say goodbye to your hands.

[2] Storing gaseous H2 under pressure?
It will require a very strong pressure-vessel, and even then osmosis
leakage may present more of a hazard
than a nuisance.

[3] Will this idea work?...Cram as many H2 molecules into the matrix of carbon buckytubes or buckyballs, themselves crammed into a H2 fuel-tank?
Use low-amperage electric current, or ionization, to draw the gaseous H2 out of their buckytube/buckyball confinement?...Will it work?
[Worth investigating]
