I have seen what looks like eroded domes. On Earth, we get these when material pushes up from underneath forcing the sedimentary layers into a dome shape. Then the layers are eroded leaving rings. I am not sure if what I have seen on Mars is the same, or perhaps impact features.

I have not seen any folded terrain on Mars. Just about all the layering I have seen is horizontal.

Valles Marineris could be a rift valley, suggest plate movement.
