shuttle
First off my condolences to the families of the shuttle. Second I hope that NASA has a good answer to my question.
How come it was deemed not to inspect the damage to the left wing after it got into space. the wing was hit by a peace of insulation off of the center fuel tank. any damage to the wing was bound to cause a failure of the heat shield. the tiles are brittle and any strike could damage them. they have had to replace them before after a minor strike during test flights. NASA controlers new about the strike but elected to not inspect it. I feel that NASA is to blame for the deaths of all on board.
