ELVs are a dead end technology

Larry,

As a member of the profession, you know that ELVs are a dead end. If we stick with ELV technology, we'll never get beyond $10k/kg for LEO launch cost. We can not industrialize Space until launch costs drop below $1k/kg (some say we have to reach $100/kg). The Orbital Space Plane is simply a reinvention of the X-20, Dynasoar. It's a giant leap backwards.

We need to go forward and build a fully reusable second generation Shuttle with the expressed design purpose of getting launch costs below $1k/kg. Cancellng SLI was a serious error.
