The quote was attributed to Peiser by Gbaikie. As good an expert on impacts as Steele is (and he is very good at pointing out your impact related errors ie GRONDINE'S MISREPRESENTATIONS ) Steele is not a paleontologist or a biologist either and is certainly subject to Phil's comment. My comments on Peiser were prompted by GB's "quote" but were based on past experience so they still stand. Seeing Peiser quoted more often than Steele lately in impact news pieces is exactly the kind of self promotion on his part I dislike.
