I would be interested in finding out if this stuff is rechargable, that is if you can pump energy INTO the hafnium as well as out of it. If so this would be the nuclear version of the rechargeable battery. That's alot of potential for energy storage.

I notice there is a link to a quantum nucleonics tutorial, which I will be reading very carefully.
