I read those before my post. The argument over what was or was not done by the Mars Society is beside the point I was trying to make as I stated in my post.
I didn't have an argument with you critiqueing the journalists use of your material. Chris seemed to be trying to defend them on the grounds of their ignorance/room for confusion and you determined to give no slack. I think you are probably correct about their confusion and mistakes. Those posts also seemed to indicate you blame the MS in part for the journalists error because you make such an issue over what was or was not MS work in conjunction with your complaints about the journalists. If you first post had been clearer, however, those later posts would be more easily interpreted. I did not feel they added or subtracted from the confusion caused by your first post.
Its simple Keith. If you link two groups in a complaint, people may think you blame both for the issue. Rather than your typical read this read that reply over material most likely already read, it would be more informative for you to explicitly clarify your earlier comments and indicate whether or not you believe MS is partly responsible for the inappropriate use of your material.

Mark
