I am ever so flattered that you assume a grand intellectual framework and clear intent powered by steely resolve motivated my request. But alas, you overestimate me. I merely reacted to complaints. Those complaints told me what a number of people thought was inappropriate here, but guided me not in determining a right course of action. And so, stabbing in the proverbial dark, I saideth unto myself "Uh, gee, I dunno, OffTopic, maybe?". And too, the cape and tights and the shirt with the stylized "M" for Moderator were at the cleaners for their biannual wash, so my intellect was unaugmented by the superpowers usually conferred by Moderationalism. And so I must merely shrug ruefully and say, "oh well, whatever".
