Would a fundraising President Bush risk annoying the petro sector, though?
That article's conclusion is particularly interesting as it states that GM has just delivered a fleet of fuel-celled vehicles to Congress for its use.
All of this begs a question. The petroleum sector is bound to be nervous about this. Would George W. Bush really risk stepping on such major campaign contributors? I'm not even aware that Halliburton's involved with fuel cells yet. Doesn't this suggest we'll not see much progress related to fuel cells anytime soon? That would be a shame, though, as that industry could supposedly boost demand for asteroid-mined platinum.
