Re: Columbia question

Yes I know it was heavier, and I know it was impossible to get to the ISS. All I want is a rough number of fuel required to change the orbit of STS-107 to rendezvous with the ISS. I expect it will be a very large number. And it will show the ridiculousness of expecting them to go to the ISS. Also the fact, even if they had planned for what happened, with the orbit they were in, they still could not have carried enough fuel to go to the ISS. That’s something they will have to take into account when they next do an HST repair mission, when they will again be in an orbit that will preclude them getting to the ISS.
