This comment says it all. I can't even fathom how you could believe what you wrote here. Every living thing on this planet that exists or ever has existed is because nature IS our friend and DOES work for us.
in my post the only thing you could attack is my post script? You do realize than in almost every debate medium not responding to someones aregument means that you don't hav e acounter to it, thus you must agree with it. Which makes me right.
I can fathom your misconception though, everyone likes to personify things, it makes it easier to understand, however you can't make friends with physical laws. It just isn't possible. Nature isn't a 'mother nature', its not a person, its not even an entity. Its a complex pseudocycle that has brough us the bubonic plauge, aids, cancer and death. Nature isn not capable of being our friend ANY MORE THAN A ROCK IS.Thats why your policy of environmentalism is wrong and leads to this hypocrisy that we see now at Klamath.
Nature didn't intend to create us, it doesn't intend to keep us alive, ITS CAN'T, IT JUST HAPPENED THAT WAY. What we can do what we've been doing sicne we crawled out of the ocean, exited the trees and left africa, we can look out for ourselves. And that is how our environmental policies should be based. I.E. don't pollute in places it could kill people, don't cut down trees below the point of replaceing oxygen (we are no where near this), but also don't get crazy to where we start harming the welfare of people for the sake of insignificant fish.
Next we need to talk about you value system you are using here. Lets say I think social security is abhorrent , and you happen to be living off of it. Would it make sense for me to say "oh look, he's living off SS, don't bother standing up against that company trying to take his home and not pay him his due." It makes no sense whatsoever. However that is essential the type of attitude you are carrying towards these farmers, that 'oh look, they get governmetn subsidies, why support then against the environment?"
I'll tell you why buck, because in either case, the same thing could happen to me (or YOU), or any other person who is living life, somehow the welfare of a stupid animal is going to be put over your life liberty and persute happiness. Wheres your argument then?
(I will respond to your other post later. . . thing to do)
