Socialist paradise

I am no friend of liberals and socialists (same thing, just a matter of degree). Liberals and socialists given time can hammer any country (no matter how prosperous) into the ground. However the problems in South African are so bad that no ehtical political system could save it. The main social problems there are driven by demographics (too many people), fundamental economics (running out of natural resources along with a labor force with abysmal productivity) and disease (HIV, malaria, Hep-C, etc.).
