Geeez get over my comments about the price of an OS already. That was the least important part of my post regarding this entire monopoly business but it's the only thing you talk about. I understand there is a lot of r&d put into software development and companies should be paid a fair price for their products. What you don't seem to understand is monopolies don't charge fair prices and that is why I am saying they are charging too much. If the OS market was divided up into 5 or 10 different OS's then I think the price would be lower and the quality much much higher.
