Now that my anger has cooled somewhat, I still stand by my earlier post.

To those who speak of justice, there is no sufficient punishment for those who perpetrated this psychotic act of insanity. To imprison these people is to give their compatriots someone to use as an excuse to do even more extreme acts.

It is no longer a criminal matter, it is truly war. And they are about to learn why as Yamamoto watched the planes land after Pearl Harbor commented, "I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant." He was right. And once more it has been awakened.

We shall grieve. There will be rage. The gathering places of this nation shall ring with condemnation of those who speak foreign tongues, or worship differently. This is the dark side of us.

But as time removes the sharp edges of anger and grief we shall gather together.
And we will once more find that spirit and determination that Americans have shown the world in the past. The leaders of other countries know this well.

Listen carefully to the public comments from many Nations and organizations who view us unfavorably.

When one finds a scorpion in the living room one does not burn down the house, one steps on it, Sometimes a lamp get broken in the rush. Those around the world with a grudge against us don't want to be in the way when somebody gets stepped on.

For to long this 'leaders' of this country have ducked and weaved, waffled in the face of threats. It's time to get off the dime, let us step on the scorpion before it stings us again.

I saw enough death and misery before my 21'st birthday to last me ten lifetimes. I don't want son,or any young man or woman to have to go through that.

Sadly, sometimes there is no choice, if we do not stop this now. Right now. They will be back, again and again and again. Sooner or later one of those attacks will be with Bio-Chem weapons, or a stolen Soviet Nuclear weapon.

These are zealots, fanatics of the worst kind. They don't care about headlines, personal glory, political agendas or revolution. They want every single living American Citizen converted to Islam or dead, period. And they will not stop, ever.

Think about this- Terrorists , feeling they could get away with it, bought five Sasha Class 100 Megaton Hydrogen Bombs from some Russian mob, stuck them in a freighter and sent it up the Saint Lawrence Seaway to Chicago, and detonated them? Or New York Harbor? Or New Orleans? Or Los Angeles?

It's time we removed the gloves. As much as I personally find it distasteful, it's time to let the guys in trench-coats do what they do, and then send in the SOG teams. Let's use the scalpel, and excise the evil in a precise and determined manner. To flounder about, and burn down the house will only compound the problem.

It isn't about justice, revenge or retribution. It is about saving lives, perhaps survival of freedom in the long run.
